Which POS Software does Subventory support?
We currently support both SubwayPOS® and SubShop/2000™. If you are running SubwayPOS®, you need to be running version 8.0.151 or higher. Note that 8.0.151 will not be deployed to the field until after the Subway® convention.
Which mobile device do I need to capture my inventory?
We currently support the iOS platform. Android is under testing and will be released during the month of September.
For iOS, you need a device that can run iOS 7.1 or higher. You can use an iPhone 4s, 5, 5c, 5s or an iPod touch. If you select an iPod touch, ensure the iPod has 2 cameras. Earlier versions of the 16Gb 5th generation iPod touch only had one camera. You can also use an iPad running iOS 7.1 or higher.
What connectivity is needed on my mobile device?
Your device needs to have Wi-Fi support. It is recommended that you have Wi-Fi in your store to allow you to upload your inventory right after you capture it.
Can I capture deliveries?
Of course, you can capture week-end inventories, deliveries and even spot checks. Both week-end inventories and deliveries get uploaded into your POS saving you the time from manual data entry.
What about waste?
We will be adding waste in the future.
Do I have to scan barcodes?
You can capture your inventory manually by entering it into the app or by scanning barcodes. You can also mix the two modes.
Are all of my products supported?
If you are using SubwayPOS®, we will be supporting all of the products you see in SubEx by the end of September. If you are using SubShop/2000™, we are gradually adding more DCs into our system. Contact us at adapps@averydennison.com with your specific DC name and we can let you know if or when it is supported. If your DC is currently not supported, we will not charge you. We will only validate your credit card.
